As a Diva Ambassador, Nurse Chioma has been viewed as a reliable role model for women for her effort in upholding the dignity of women of colour through her career as a Nurse, helping young colleagues and patients alike. Nurse Chioma is a Nigerian US based Nurse. At a young age she decided to pursue a nursing degree. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree at San Diego State University. After five years, Chioma graduated in May of 2010 and then sought out to begin her career in nursing. She started her journey in nursing working in hospitals of lower income areas where she provided direct patient care to very ill patients.

As she continued to grow in her nursing career, she began mentoring new nurses the best practices to becoming a nurse. Chioma found herself helping many new nurses on the job, asking numerous questions from other nursing candidates and well as taking on leadership roles in her positions. As her career grew, her desire to help new nurses grew as well. In 2012, Chioma launched her website choosingnursing.net where her vision began to help new nurses transition into the nursing field started.

Currently Chioma prides herself in providing the necessary insight and resources to help newly graduated nurses successfully pass their licensure exam. With a global nursing shortage and a number of new willing nurses unable to pass their exam, Chioma works to put the tools in their hands to help them accomplish their nursing dreams.
